What I Want To See Under My Christmas Tree.

I'm trying so hard to get into the holiday spirit this year, but it really does not help that it still feels like Spring outside. Call this post a holiday wishlist of sorts.
First I would like some gifts for my cats:

A cardboard scratcher for Lilly and Sabrina. They love these things.

Catnip for my porch cat Blackie

A cat tag for the new collar that I just put on Tailless
Books for me:
A Strand Books gift card is a must!

Zombies for Zombies by David P. Murphy *zombie! yay*

Zoo by Otsuichi *Japanese sci-fi short stories*

Bad Kitty and Happy Birthday Bad Kitty by Nick Bruel

Knit the Season by Kate Jacobs *Love this series*

Battlel Royale Graphic Novel Volume #1 by Koushun Takami

All You Need is Kill by Hiroshi Sakurazaka *another cool looking Japanese sci-fi book*
Other:

Battle Royale Director's Cut DVD

Tea set from adagio.com

Teacup pig! Thanks to Yan for pointing this one out. I must have a tea cup pig. Hopefully my cats won't treat him like Christmas dinner.
more to come...

Haven't been able to get into the holiday spirit yet, so maybe I should start making a list as well? So nice that you're including gifts for your kitties! Love the tags!

The tree at my house doesn't really have a theme. I decorate it with ornaments that were made by my sister and I when we were younger, ornaments my great grandmother crocheted and ornaments that my family has collected over the years.

Most of the trees that I see in stores don't have themes, with the exception of the tree at Cracker Barrel. They usually decorate their trees with rustic decorations (i.e. black bears, wooden ornaments, etc.).

The tradition of the Christmas Tree started in Europe and is first recorded in the 16th century, well into the Christian era. There is no evidence at all of any connection to paganism.
