Angie Frazier is the author of the upcoming young adult title Everlasting. To find out more about her and her work; check out her website. Lucy is a gorgeous Tortie Tortoiseshell shell cat that is best friends with the family dog Max. Princess Stephan is a handsome orange cat and is unfortunate enough to live with a dog and a cat that thinks she is a dog.

Lucy:

1. You’re a very attractive cat. What is your daily beauty routine?

I know it’s impossible to tell, but I don’t use any product. All this…is natural. Just a bit of grooming here and there and voila!

2. So you're bffs with a dog. You do realize that you're cat right?

Maximus and I are kindred spirits. It wouldn’t matter to me if she were a water buffalo. I’m
quite worldly that way.

3. What is your favorite household item to play with?

Yarn is always fun, especially of the human woman is trying to make something with it on those needle things of hers. Oh, and the big green cushy thing the humans like to sit on has been a fantastic toy to sink my claws into!

4. Do your humans give you food under the table?

I don’t eat human food, really. Except when the woman forgets to buy us our own food and opens up a can of tuna to hold us over.

Prince Stefan:

1. Why don't you ever meow?

Why must I? I have no need to beckon the humans.

2. Do you prefer lying down on paperback books or hardcovers?

Oh, paperbacks, most definitely. They have more give to them.

3. Does it bother you that your sister is bffs with a dog?

It is a source of great family embarrassment that my sister has chosen to associate with a member of the canine species. Thank you very much for bringing it up.

4. Which would you rather chase after, birds or chipmunks?

There is only one chipmunk I want to chase. Just one. He taunted me all summer by scurrying over the front steps, nibbling his little acorns and crap apples right beneath the window where I watched him… Oh, the plots I’ve come up with to escape this house and sneak up on him when he least expects it…mwhahaha!

Angie:

1. Do you share leftover Thanksgiving day turkey with your cats?

Leftovers are a coveted thing in my household…unless the animals can manage to open the fridge and pull them out for themselves, they’re out of luck!

2. Do you buy holiday presents for them?

We tried that a few times, but then the dog ended up chewing the little stuffed mice and squeaky balls up within a few minutes, so… Maybe this year I’ll indulge them with some catnip. There’s nothing like watching a couple of kitties going batty over catnip! Yes, entertainment in our neck of the woods is sparse.

3. Are there any cats in the books you have coming out?

Actually, wow. There are no cats in any of my books. How can that be? I think I’ll need to write one in somewhere…

4. Which one of your cats is your favorite?

If you asked my husband, he’d say Stefan is his favorite simply because Lucy is the one who has destroyed our couch. He’s constantly asking our friends and family if they want a new cat J But I could never choose one over the other. They’re like children in that way…I can’t favor one—without feeling guilty, that is!
